Joshua Tree Spaceship

4.11.2015
For my birthday, which was two days ago--I'm 22 YAY--Ian and I found a concert out in Joshua Tree. We turned the trip into a big desert journey through Joshua Tree and beyond. Many posts to follow, kids. We saw Caribou play at Pappy and Harriett's, a cool little bar/venue out in a ghost-town called Pioneertown. The show was awesome and I danced until I literally got a headache, but I think the real star of our trip was our spaceship-trailer. We found this gem on Airbnb: here if anyone wants to check it out. Called the Red Rocket at Buzzard's Roost, this restored 50's mobile home was an absolute dream. There were so many cool 50's space antiques and a really awesome shower curtain. The outside was just as beautiful, obviously. We arrived around the golden hour so everything was just beautiful in the desert. Please enjoy these photos of our space getaway and us looking dumb in the desert.
