I am learning that a solid wardrobe comes from investing in basics. I always thought owning basics made for a boring look, but I am learning that it is just the opposite. Yesterday i meandered into GAP and got a new denim jacket and sweater. SO READY FOR FALL!

You're right, sometimes it's hard to commit to investing in basics when you're convinced you might end up with a boring wardrobe. I think a balance is key, but a denim jacket is a great place to start!
