Here is a photodump of pictures from my camping trip to Mt. Tamalpais with my boyfriend. Last year we found the most beautiful campground--called Steep Ravine Environmental Camp, for anyone who's wondering--by chance and just had to come back this year. There are only 7 pretty secluded campsites and 10 cabins right on the cliffs at this beautiful place just north of San Francisco. We did some hiking: followed a stream up up up, through a forest, and came out overlooking the ocean on a mountain. I've gotten to be a much better camper after realizing that sleeping pads were a thing. Now I'm better at sleeping on the ground and I didn't even complain once, just ask Ian. Of course he is a wonderful camping partner and makes some mean quesadillas on a camp stove. Here are a bunch of photos from my camera and iPhone.
sounds like you had a wonderful time! it's been forever since i've done any camping, but i wish i'd make little trips like this as i really used to love camping! and the photos are beautiful. i especially like the night sky one (lovely contrast to the previous one) and the second one. seems like a place really worth revisiting! xx
ReplyDeleteAw thank you for the kind words. I love those two contrasting shots. There is just enough light from the bay to make light over the ocean.
DeleteDefinitely take a trip soon and take lots of photos!
xx
